Planning Applications
 

All Planning Applications submitted to the local planning authority (North York Moors National Park Planning Authority) are copied to the relevant Parish Council to enable local views and issues to be heard in relation to each application.

Parish Councils can, after due consideration, either approve or disapprove of a particular application and highlight local issues or concerns that may not be immediately apparent to the Planning Authority without local knowledge.

The Planning Authority are not obliged to concur with such comment or recommendation and the ultimate decision of the authority may not reflect the recommendation of the Parish Council .

Listed below is a summary of the recommendations of this Parish Council for all planning applications submitted during the last twelve months, and the associated decisions of the NYMNPA Planning Officers and/or committee.
